Developing and Implementing a Robust Affordable Housing Strategy: Putting the Puzzle Pieces Together

This session features Bill Barberg, President and Founder of InsightFormation. It focuses on teaching individuals how to structure a multifaceted strategy that has short-term elements, which address urgent needs, and long-term elements, that address the root problems. Rather than the typical organizational strategy, it breaks the implementation process of community strategy into six steps: (1) Establish urgency and commitment to collaborate; (2) Introduce new concepts, techniques, and tools for managing community strategy; (3) Engage the coalition in co-creating the strategy map; (4) Distribute the work of strategy execution; (5) Adapt shared measures and shared measurement system; (6) Harness, align, and monitor the actions. The session is based off of Chapter 22 of Solving Population Health Problems by Bill Barberg.
